About Paul Roderique:

Began his playing career as a Sophomore on the inaugural Varsity Soccer Team at Holy Cross High School in Delran, NJ.  From then on, there was always a soccer ball floating somewhere around his house.  When his daughter showed an interest in the sport, he was "roped" into coaching and has been doing it ever since. He has been coaching youth soccer players, girls and boys, since 1994. 

While stationed in London, from 1999 to 2003 he assisted with goalkeeper training for ACS Hillingdon High School.  However, it was his exposure to the training sessions, players, and coaches at the Arsenal Ladies Centre of Excellence, while his daughter was a member of that program, that influenced much of his current attitude towards youth training and development. A number of the players in that program went on to become stars for their national teams and to play professionally in the US including Alex Scott, Rachel Yankey, and Anita Asante.

From 2007 until 2011, he coached for Mount Pleasant Soccer Club,   In 2011 he relocated to Fort Mill, SC where he was a coach at Palmetto United Futbol Club.  In 2012, he made the full time switch to Futsal as a Founding Partner and Director with Barefoot Futsal Club, LLC. He has been 100% dedicated to Futsal ever since, because it offers the best player development system he has yet encountered anywhere!

Coach Paul holds a  National "D" license from the SCYSA, a USSA National Youth License, and a Level 3 Futsal Coaching Certification from US Youth Futsal.
He is also the Southeast Regional Director for US Youth Futsal.
