TrueFutsal has been pleased to host the US Youth Futsal Southeast Region ID Camp over the past two years. The U.S. Youth Futsal I.D. program is designed to identify and develop elite players in the most challenging and competitive environment possible. Selected players are invited to attend a local identification camp in their region. Participants receive multiple training sessions and training matches under the leadership of U.S. Youth Futsal and U.S. Youth Futsal regional and national staff coaches.
Top players from each Regional Futsal I.D. camp are invited to participate in the U.S. Youth Futsal National I.D. Camp. The best of the best are selected for the U.S. Youth Futsal Teams, comprised of the best youth futsal players in the nation after a thorough identification and selection process. Assembling the very best futsal players to train and compete under the guidance of and the United States National Coaching Staff assures the absolute highest level of futsal development possible.
Futsal I.D. is available to boys and girls born 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006
SE REGION FUTSAL CLINIC - TBD
On TBD in Greensboro, NC, we will be running a Futsal Clinic for the SE Region players who have been invited to attend the USYF National ID Camp in July. The Clinic will be held at Greensboro College. The schedule is as follows:
2006 - 2004 Age Groups
10 am - 12noon Court Training (Attacking Principles of Play and Intrasquad Matches)
1pm - 2pm Mental Skills Workshop
3pm - 5pm Court Training (Defensive Principles of Play and Intrasquad Matches)
2003-1999 Age Groups
1pm - 3pm Court Training (Attacking Principles of Play and Intrasquad Matches)
3pm - 4pm Mental Skills Workshop
5pm - 7pm Court Training (Defensive Principles of Play and Intrasquad Matches)
The objectives of the Clinic are to introduce players to the activities that will form the basis of the National Camp training sessions. Give them an opportunity to play with and against regional players of similar ability. Prepare them mentally for the ID selection process and give them some tools to help achieve their goals.
The fee per player is $75. You must also be registered with USYouth Futsal.
